Joebody's Can-Can Gallery

Can-Can dancing is a well known style that originated in France.  It was once a popular form of entertainment, but it is rare to see it performed today.  The dancers must have extremely flexible legs and hips in order to achieve the amazing high kicks for which the Can-Can is best known.  In this gallery, some very talented dancers from New York City show us that the Can-Can is alive and well in the United States.  We hope you enjoy the show!

These photographs taken and formatted by Joebody (Joseph Botta) feature the finest and most dynamic moments of the Can-Can dance. Joebody is a conservative gentleman who enjoys, documents and practices the aspects of athleticism which express extreme flexibility, showmanship, concentration and a desire for achievement. If you are an extremely flexible practitioner of fitness, bodybuilding, rhythmic gymnastics, dance, ballet, acrobatics, gymnastics, aerobics, cheerleading, yoga, martial arts, the circus arts or a related sport or art and you would like to be auditioned for a photo gallery at this site please feel free to contact him at:
